Mark Challis commence with Yarra Valley & The Dandenongs Marketing in November, 2009. Mark has been involved with the Tourism, Hospitality and Gaming industries for over 20 years and has held senior corporate roles with Airlines, Hotels and Casinos. This, combined with Marketing & Research consulting, has resulted in a unique blend of strategic knowledge and experience which will be of immense benefit to the regional marketing team.

Troy commenced with Regional Marketing in May 2010. Troy has a Diploma of Travel and Tourism and a Diploma of Teaching. Prior to joing YRRML, Troy worked for 4 years as the Sales Manager of Bell City (The largest hotel in the Rydges Hotel & Resorts Group). Before joing Bell City, Troy worked as Sales Manager for the Spirit of Tasmania and worked closely with Regional Tourism in Tasmania.

Lincoln joined YRRML in April 2008, looking after the Accounting administration and Management financial reporting of the organisation. Lincoln is also responsible for sourcing funding opportunities for marketing activities. Lincoln is also involved in the development of YRRML’s online environment.

Claire joined YRRML in July 2010, and is responsible for delivering the Tourism Information Services Strategy, working with the Visitor Information Centres within the region, and other information sources to deliver effective Visitor Information.
ANITA DONNELLY, Tourism & Events Manager – Marysville & Surrounds, adonnelly@yrrml.com.au
Anita joined YRRML in August 2011, to lead the recovery of Marysville & Surrounds after the 2009 Bushfires.
Anita’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts (International Studies) and a Master of Tourism. Anita worked at the National Trust of Australia (Victoria), in the areas of marketing and tourism. Following this she moved into event management with roles at ParaQuad Victoria and Racing Victoria Limited. In December 2007, Anita took on the role of Industry Development with Tourism Alliance.
Anita has held the role of Deputy CEO, Victoria Tourism Industry Council (VTIC) and Victoria Events Industry Council (VEIC) as well as Executive Officer, Hotel, Motel and Accommodation Association (HMAA) and Backpacker Operators Alliance of Victoria (BOAV).
